Besta vigil over: Resistance will continue until nature is free

	ŞIRNEX - Speaking at the end of the vigil in Besta, Şirnex (Şırnak) Ecology Platform Term Spokesperson Adnan Şenbayram stated that they will continue their struggle and stated, "We will continue to resist until nature is free." 

	 

	Led by the Democratic Institutions Platform, the vigil in Besta against the ongoing ecocide in Şirnex and its districts with the slogan "No passage to ecocide, we march against the plunder of nature" ended with a press statement. Socialist political parties representatives made the statemen in Kûn Hirçokê area between Çemê Têwî and Bişêye Reş villages in Besta where the vigil was held. Many people from near cities also attended the vigil. 

	 

	'WE WILL LIBERATE NATURE TOGETHER'

	 

	Şirnex Ecology Platform Term Spokesperson Adnan Şenbayram stated that Kurdistan is being sold off to capital. "We made a march yesterday against the practices carried out under the name of security. Yesterday we gave a message to the plundering system and stated that we will not allow ecocide. We will liberate nature together. Today our vigil ends but we will continue to resist until nature is free. We will start a tree planting campaign in November. We can only protect nature with a united struggle. Thanks to everyone who participated in the vigil. Our struggle will continue from Cûdî to Akbelen." 

	 

	The statement ended with the slogans "Xweza jîyan e jîyanê nekuje (Nature is life, do not slaughter life)". After the statement, the watch area was cleaned by the protesters.
