NEWS CENTER - Announcing that the attacks are continuing, the SDF General Command called: “We call on all our people in Rojava, Bakur, BaŞur, and Rojhilat Kurdistan, as well as in Europe, especially young people, to unite, eliminate the occupiers’ borders, and join the resistance.”
The General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) issued a written statement.
The statement reads:
"To our resisting people,
Since January 6, our regions and our people have been facing direct brutal attacks and bombardments. Against these attacks, our fighters are fighting with great courage and sacrifice, carrying out an honorable struggle.
The Turkish state with an DAESH mentality and its militias are intensifying their attacks on our people under the illusion that they can break our will and resistance.
Just as our comrades displayed historic resistance in Kobanê in 2014 with great determination and will, turning Kobanê into a graveyard for DEASH supported by Turkey, today, with the same determination, we will turn all our cities, from Dêrik to Hesekê and Kobanê, into a graveyard for those who represent the new DAESH mentality run by the Turkish state.
On this basis, we call on all our people in Rojava, Bakur, BaŞur, and Rojhilat Kurdistan, as well as in Europe, especially young people, to unite, eliminate the occupiers’ borders, and join the resistance.
Today is a day of honor. Today is a day of historic responsibility.
Today, once again, we see that the will of the people is stronger than all forms of attack and occupation."
