Joint checkpoint established between Hasakah and Raqqa

RIHA - A joint security checkpoint has been established on the Ebyad Ebyad road between the Hesekê (Hasakah) province of North and East Syria and Raqqa.
 
Under an agreement reached between the North and East Syria Internal Security Forces and the Damascus Internal Security Forces, a joint security checkpoint has been established on the Ebyad Ebyad road. 
 
Following the establishment of the joint security checkpoint, armed forces affiliated with the Damascus government withdrew to Raqqa. A 10-person force affiliated with the Damascus government was left behind for the joint security point. 
 
Meanwhile, the siege that began on 20 January in Kobanê (Kobani) continues on its 43rd day. Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) members in the villages around Kobani are expected to withdraw in the coming days.
