Deputies makes inspections in Licik

AMED - Members of the İliç Mine Accident Investigation Commission, established in the Parliament, will conduct investigations in Licik district, where the mining disaster took place.
 
The İliç Mine Accident Investigation Commission, established in the Parliament, will investigate the mine site in Licik (İliç) district of Erzîngan, where a landslide occurred and 9 workers remained underground. AKP deputy and Commission Chair Atay Uslu announced that they will be in Licik on Tuesday and Wednesday and will inspect the mine where the landslide occurred.
Uslu said that the commission was established by the joint decision of the political parties in the Parliament and stated that the commission started its work quickly. Emphasizing that their aim is to reveal negligence and determine the measures to be taken to prevent similar accidents from occurring, Uslu stated that they will also work to create a safe and sustainable mining policy.
